  1. Click on "File" from the top menu bar.
  2. Click on "Save As" from the drop down menu.
  3. Choose a drive and directory using the "Save in:" part of the dialog box.
  4. Type in a file name in the "File name:" part of the dialog box.
  5. Click on the triangle (arrow) next to the "Save as type:" box.
  6. Choose "Web Page" if you want to save the web page in html. Choose "Text File" if you want to save the web page as plain text which can be read by Microsoft Word and WordPerfect. 
    If "Text File" is not available as an option select "All Files" and type .txt as the extension after the file name in the "File name:" part of the dialog box.
  7. Click on "Save."
