Programs (Software)

Library computers have Microsoft Office installed on them, as well as Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome. Some library computers have specialized databases loaded on to them that can only be used there. Library computers do not have ISU course software loaded on them.

Computer Lab computers have all these programs (excluding the databases), Microsoft Office, software for ISU courses, audio and video media players, and more.

Printing

Printing from a library computer costs .10¢ for a single-sided black and white copy; color copies are available.

Lab computers offer free printing for the first 30 pages, then .10¢ per page for additional pages. For more information about printing from lab computers, see Printing in Labs' Rules and Prices.

Saving your work

If you log off of a library computer, your work will be lost unless you save your work to a disk or to the T drive (Thawed Space) on that computer.
